Walk To School Week 09 Winners Announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of both our £500 draw for parents and our results wallcharts.
The winner of our £500 prize draw for parents was Becky Kerbyson, who nominated Warberry C of E Foundation Primary School to receive the prize money.

Becky was 'absolutely delighted' to have won, and, as she is a wet-play leader at the school, plans to spend the money on some new play items for wet break times.

Three lucky classes have also received their Fruity Faces inflatable fruit holders for filling in their wallchart results. These were Hughes class at Fulbridge Primary School, class 4R from Courthouse Junior School and Year 3 from St Denys Primary School. Exclamations of delight have been received from the schools and there was even a request for a couple more for the class teachers...

Thank you very much to all those who took the time to fill in the survey or send us results. Feedback such as this is a source of valuable information to us about walking to school, showing us a range of views and experiences and demonstrating how motivating Walk To School Week is as part of the Walk To School campaign initiative.
